Position Available: Receptionist
Position Available: We have a full time position available (40 weekly hours) for a Receptionist.

Because of the level of care provided to our clients and their pets, Reception is one of the most important areas in the hospital. Duties for Receptionists include:
- Greeting Clients as they arrive and making them feel welcome
- Creating files for clients and pets and updating them as needed
- Discussing the purpose of the visit with the client
- Obtaining basic information about the pet, such as current weight and vaccination history
- Entering client and pet information into our database
- Escorting clients into the examination room
- Scheduling appointments, including general exams, re-checks, surgery, and boarding
- Answering the phone, listening to client's concerns, and dispensing sub-professional advice.
- Collecting fees, preparing the daily deposit, and printing necessary reports
- Preparing and mailing Vaccination Reminders
- General cleaning and organizing of Reception Area, Waiting Area, and Exam Rooms to maintain a sanitary and aesthetic environment
- Conducting animals to and from Boarding, Treatment, or the Reception Area
- Restocking Retail Area
- Guiding tours of the Hospital and the Boarding Facility
This position calls for a dependable worker who is compassionate, self-motivated, and a team player. Flexibility in scheduling is required, and weekend hours are part of the schedule. Benefits include health insurance, paid sick leave, and paid vacation. Salary depends on qualifications and experience.
